Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School
Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School in Aylesbury was opened in 1963 By Sir Henry Floyd himself whom the school was named after , and has been designated as a high performing specialist in many subjects are undergoing major redevelopment works , These works have included a platform lift.
Axess 4 All in association With Wernicks Buildings, Supplied and fitted a Wheelchair Platform Lift, the Lift that was chosen for this project was our A5000 platform Lift, it was to be installed in their New Glover building , the A5000 lift is Manufactured By Cibes Lifts , Axess 4 All are part of the Cibes Lift group.
Our A5000 platforn lift was also fitted with A Fully glazed one hour fire rated door, we were the first to supply this door in the UK and it has been a very popular choice as it does not compromise on the style of the lift.
The Wheelchair Lift was also fitted with high quality powder coated doors in the school colours so to blend in with its surroundings , The lift was also fitted with School locking so as to stop any unauthorised use.
Installation of the Lift was completed in two days by our installation team and the project went to plan with no problems.
Having Wheelchair access in this building will be a major help to any students or teachers that may have impaired mobility and make it easier for them to get around the building.
